Barbara (B.J.) Cogdell has been around wood working most of her life. Her dad, John, was a furniture maker. Her brothers all work with wood in some form or another. Barbara is married to Clarence Cogdell, an accomplished wood turner. Through his tutelage, she has learned to appreciate the beauty of wood and the precision it takes to make pens that are not only functional, but beautiful as well.
