After attending the John C. Campbell Folk Art School to study wildflower gardening, I have been able to integrate a larger variety of styles, colors, shapes and sizes into my work. I thoroughly enjoy the whole process of pressed flower creations, from gathering flowers, to pressing and arranging the finished product. I have 15 large presses that are in constant rotation from Spring through Fall. After pressing, the flowers are sorted by color and stored in large plastic boxes between layers of paper towels. |
