While living in Vero Beach, Florida she studied with William Schultz, founder of the American Impressionist Society. She has also studied with North Carolina artists Jim Carson, Dale McIntyre, and Suzanne Karnatz.


Claudia Seagle, a recent resident of Shelby, North Carolina, is a graduate of the University of Alabama where she majored in Interior Design.

Claudia works in both oil and pastel. She is impressionistic in her approach to interpreting what she sees and how she uses color.

While spending her summers in Cashiers, North Carolina she was the featured resident artist in the Art and Craft show held at Wade Hampton Club each year.

Claudia's paintings are in private collections in North Carolina, as well as Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina.
