Many years ago I took some pottery classes at Gaston College in Dallas, North Carolina. My teacher, Keith Lamber, was a man who took pottery making very seriously.

From that time on, I have been in love with mud! Since then I have expressed my love of art through clay whenever possible. Due to raising three children and other roadblocks, it was not until two years ago that I began throwing in earnest. For awhile I worked with a group of friends in a studio in Cherryville. When my husband, Jerry, built a building in our back yard, I moved my things home and that is where you will find me much of the time;

My pottery ranges from the functional to the whimsical, as my mood leads me. What a wonderful way to spend your days....covered in mud! All of my pottery is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. My glazes are lead-free and food safe. I hope that each piece I form will bring joy to someone.
